When they were in their twenties, my friends, Sonia and Ross, travelled to Brazil, as part of a short term mission team.
Amongst other things, they spent time ministering to some of the street children who lived in the sprawling urban favelas, Brazilian shanty towns, in the city where they were based.
One evening, Sonia had an unexpected encounter with one particular street girl, which led to a miraculous healing.
